使用Explain Everything解說SCOOP

很早就想讓學生練習用平板繪製心智圖，用app的好處自然是省時有效率、顏色分類簡易好操作、儲存容易便於日後複習。所以康軒B6L1的閱讀"Teaching with Her Heart"就讓學生透MindMapper來繪製心智圖。一般英語課程繪製心智圖是利用Wh- Questions在pre-reading, during reading, post reading提問、整理重點、反思，甚至可以重述故事。今天課程介紹Reading Mama網站提供的Retelling Chart: Scoop法 來理解課文，這個方法強調problem, problem solved，可以訓練學生在故事中找出危機所在、處理危機的方式，並且應用在生活情境中加以驗證。


Teaching Procedures:
I Introduction to Retelling a Story through SCOOP

  Setting: Tell When and Where.
  Characters: Who is in the story?
  Oh no! (the problem): What is the Problem in the story?
  Order of Events: Tell the story In Order.
  Problem Solved: How is the problem solved?
II Silent Reading and Oral Reading
III Group Discussion
    Group members organize information.
IV Hands-on Activity
     Each group member takes turns creating the mind map.
V Sharing
    The teacher projects groups' work through iPad. If time permits, each group can  retell the story
    with the aid of their mind map on the screen.

課程反思：
學生第一次使用MindMapper，花了不少時間熟悉介面如何加圖、文字、上傳作品等，所以最後沒有時間作故事重述，有些可惜。接下來幾課希望繼續練習，訓練mind mapping方法與應用程式操作。
